Effective Philanthropy plays a vital role in providing thought leadership to realise the 2030 Strategys ambitions through its focus on ensuring a targeted and cohesive approach to philanthropy that amplifies our overall impact.Job DescriptionAbout the OpportunityOur Effective Philanthropy team has a new and exciting requirement for a Head of Sustainability to drive ESG and DEI across the organisation, aligning sustainability goals with overall business objectives.Reporting to the Executive Director, Effective Philanthropy, you will be directly responsible for a team of two. Day to day you will be responsible for:Developing and leading the foundations sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with our mission, focus areas, and values.Embedding sustainability principles across operations, grant-making and partnerships.Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainable business practices.Establishing and reporting on sustainability goals, metrics, and progress driving transparency and accountability.Designing and leading DEI programs fostering an inclusive workplace culture and promoting equity across all levels.Collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and community organisations to advance sustainability and DEI efforts.Leading cross functional teams to integrate sustainability and DEI initiatives into business operations, products and services.QualificationsAbout YouThe successful candidate will hold a formal qualification in Sustainability, Social Impact, Business Administration or Public Policy, preferably a Masters. A minimum of 8 years post graduate experience in sustainability, DEI leadership, corporate social responsibility or ESG strategy is also required.
