Our PS Project Managers lead customers, partner with internal teams through the implementation of projects using a combination of management and technical skills. They are highly organized, strong communicators and have a passion for driving successful outcomes. You will see firsthand the phenomenal things our customers and partners do with Splunk.In this role, you will use your project management, technical, and leadership skills to assist the Professional Services team with large-scale customers. Since this is a new position in our Canberra team, you will also help define this role and its evolution over the next few years.ResponsibilitiesExecute pre-engagement tasks such as reviewing SOWs, arranging project resourcing, ensuring customer readiness, and leading project kick-off meetings.Plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet contractual obligations, budgets, and customer satisfaction.Lead technical deployments through the full implementation lifecycle.Facilitate requirements workshops with technical resources to identify solution requirements.Support consultants on project activities and manage project escalations.Create and maintain project management documentation including project plans, action logs, risk/issue registers, and change control.Ensure regular, timely, and accurate communication with all key partners including the customer, sales, professional services, and support.Maintain and foster internal and external project relationships, taking ownership to meet customer objectives and contractual obligations.Execute project close-out meetings with customers and internal stakeholders, gather feedback, and share lessons learned.Promote opportunities where Splunk products and services can add value for users.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Splunk products, industry best practices, and project management skills.Experience and SkillsAbility to evaluate project objectives and scope feasibility, understand customer needs, schedule resources, and manage timelines and budgets.Ability to lead, mentor, and develop project team members, including delegating responsibilities.Build customer relationships that improve communication and promote additional product opportunities.Manage multiple small projects or teams while maintaining customer satisfaction and financial health.Liaise effectively across operational, functional, and technical areas.Advanced persuasion and negotiation skills with internal and external customers.Translate customer business requirements into project deliverables.Experience in data, cybersecurity, process automation, or IT service operations projects.Experience with software delivery management or system integration delivery.We value diversity at our company.
