Canonical Enterprise Project Managers are responsible for ensuring project success by owning, driving, communicating, and engaging stakeholders with integrity and accountability.Within a portfolio of projects with complex and evolving software technologies, customer and partner satisfaction depends on exceptional Project Managers who respect and engage all stakeholders.Location:This is a globally remote role.Role Responsibilities:Ensure programs and projects are delivered within schedule, scope, cost, budget, and resources expectations.Identify key technical and project risks and issues, and implement mitigating actions.Maintain strong customer focus and collaborate with stakeholders for successful outcomes.Conduct regular status meetings and business reviews with customers, providing direction as needed.Manage delivery schedule of critical third-party deliverables.Advocate appropriate Canonical technologies to customers.Drive project success while managing risks.Candidate Requirements:Experience in Enterprise IT Programs, Process Improvement, and Software Engineering Project Management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Experience leading cross-cultural, remote, and global project teams and customers.Strong negotiation and influencing skills.Deep understanding of Linux, Open Source, and Cloud Technologies.Bachelor''s Degree in a STEM discipline.Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent).Agile Project Management certification (e.g., Scrum Master or equivalent).Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.What We Offer:Distributed work environment with biannual in-person team sprints.USD 2,000 annual learning and development budget.Annual compensation review and performance bonuses.Additional benefits reflecting our values and local needs.Recognition rewards, holiday leave, parental leave, wellness programs.Opportunities to travel and meet colleagues globally.About Canonical:Canonical is a pioneering open-source tech firm, publisher of Ubuntu, and leader in AI, IoT, and cloud platforms.
