The Role NQ Asphalt are seeking experienced Asphalt Level Hand & Plant Operators to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of our projects. In this role you will be responsible for operating mobile construction equipment for road surfacing works. Key Requirements: Previous experience either in road construction or asphalt. Experience working successfully within a team environment. Current drivers license and own transport HR Truck License is desired but not essential. Skid Steer/Roller experience & Tickets Motivated and committed individual Prepare to work safely in the construction industry card (White/Blue Card) Be responsible and act in a safe and honest manner Strong understanding of the asphalt laying process Ability to work overtime when required (including weekends) Willingness to travel and work away as required Due to the nature of our business, the successful applicants will be subject to a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol screening. NQ Asphalt has the facility to complete work outside the Cairns region, applicants must have the ability to work away for work on occasion.
