The Position The Local Heritage & Museums Officer, reporting to the Librarian - Programs & Partnerships, will work collaboratively with the Library & Museum Services team, contributing to strategic planning, development of library and museum programs and partnerships, Heritage Collection management, and the provision of excellent customer service through supervision of the Library & Museum Services volunteer program. This role is 7.5 hours per day, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday commencing 1 July 2025. About You You have demonstrated experience in managing local heritage and/or museum collections and well developed project management and organisational skill, including the ability to work independently, develop documents and procedures. You have excellent interpersonal communication skills, including demonstrated experience developing relationships with relevant stakeholders. Additionally, you have demonstrated excellence in presentation; interactive communication; and customer service skills. You are competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications and a proven ability to learn new technologies. You must also have a Current C class drivers licence for this role.
