The Role: Our Carpenters and Apprentices are key members of the Ecoliv Construction team. Responsibilities include: Complete carpentry works adhering to the brief, scope and project timing allocated for each project working to approved plans and specifications. Ensure all construction works adhere to the relevant codes and Australian standards including material installation are to manufacturers specifications. Helps to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing OH&S standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations both within the construction facility and onsite. Helps to maintain an organised and clean site work environment and ensures Waste Management objectives are maintained. Provides guidance and encouragement in the training of apprentices in all aspects of carpentry Ability to problem solve and read plans and specifications to ensure homes are built to specification on time and within budget, while complying with OH&S requirements. Any other construction duties as directed. Competencies required: Working knowledge of prefabricated construction Quality Control OH&S Requirements Attention to detail Problem solving Experience required: Experience in carpentry construction practices Prescribed qualifications: Cert 3 in Carpentry (or the equivalent) or undertaking apprenticeship Experience in residential construction Valid drivers licence and vehicle Red/White card
