Lotus Glen Health Service (LGHS) is located within the Lotus Glen Correctional Centre (LGCC) in Arriga on the Atherton Tablelands. The Staff Specialist or Senior Medical Officer for Opioid Dependence Treatment (ODT) provides treatment for opiate dependency as part of a primary health care service within the Lotus Glen Health Services. The Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers a large geographic area with a diverse and growing population. Job Ad Reference: CAH630661 Purpose of the Role Working at the Lotus Glen Correctional Centre within rural health services across the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service, you will contribute as a dynamic Senior Medical Practitioner with the appropriate qualification of training in the Queensland Opioid Substitution Program. Your Opportunity You will provide a high standard of care for Lotus Glen Correction Centre patients, maintaining clinical standards necessary for quality clinical care outcomes, including the transfer of responsibility of clinical care.
