While local candidates are preferred, we are open to FIFO arrangements for Queensland-based candidates.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESIncident investigations and managementInjury managementAudits and inspectionsTraining and coachingSystem reviews & data analysisFacilitate HSE meetings & manage Risk Management WorkshopsDocumentation preparationA high focus on life-saving commitmentsPreparation and delivery of toolbox and campaign materialAdhoc coverage across sites during shutdowns and outagesDaily/weekly site visitsEnsure that all HS&E processes comply with the requirements of KAEFER and client policies, procedures and project specifications, as identified in the contract document and HSE management plan(s).Participate in the periodic review of processes and the system of audit for HS&E to ensure proper alignment with Client and Corporate goals and targets, plus areas of continuous improvement.Investigate HS&E near misses and incidents with the outcome of investigation produced in a timely and professional manner.Review incident reporting (including near misses) and provide input as appropriate to corrective actions and prevention.ABOUT YOUMin. 5 years proven experience as an Advisor in the Mining, O&G, Construction industriesRelevant Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety Diploma (essential) | Cert IV in Workplace OHS (preferred)For the office-based roles, you will need to be able to travel as required for project needsStrong problem-solving skills to address safety issues and recommend practical solutionsProven ability to develop and implement safety policies & procedures in line with O&G industry or mining standards.A proactive and results-oriented mindset committed to promoting a culture of safety within the projectHighly developed communication skills including the ability to influence and negotiate all stakeholdersWHAT WE OFFERContinuous Training and Career Development Engage in hands-on training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs that empower your professional growth.Competitive salary with site uplift Enjoy a fantastic compensation package that recognizes your hard work, plus site uplifts (where applicable) that make your commitment worthwhile.Tailored Employee Benefits Scheme take advantage of a range of benefits designed to support you and your family.
