Why Youll Love It Here A truly mission-led business doing good with dataimpacting communities across Australia and beyond Greenfield build: nothing legacy here, just smart decisions, scalable design, and a clean slate Casual, collaborative cultureno egos, no micromanagement, just a smart team doing good work Flexibility to do your best workThe company is adopting a remote-first culture but have a Melbourne CBD office What Youll Be Doing Take the lead in designing and building Voconiqs cloud-native data and machine learning platform to power their growing SaaS product Build out robust, scalable data pipelines that serve real-time analytics and ML use cases across multiple industries Architect infrastructure that supports performance, flexibility, and scale from day one Deploy and manage production-ready ML models that help surface meaningful insights from community sentiment data Define and embed engineering best practices across the platformtesting, CI/CD, modular design, documentation, and more Work cross-functionally with data scientists, product leads, and social researchers to deliver high-impact outcomes What Were Looking For Deep experience building production-ready data platforms, pipelines, or ML infrastructure Strong Python skills and fluency in AWS infrastructure Hands-on experience with Databricks or Spark-based tooling in a real-world setting Ability to work autonomously and bring clarity and structure to an early-stage environment A builders mindset and a genuine interest in solving complex, meaningful problems Passion for social impact, ethical tech, and working in a team that values trust and transparency Curious?
