Our approach focuses on protecting, growing, and innovating WAs economy, community, and environment.About the opportunityWe have one (1) permanent, full-time position available for immediate filling.We are seeking a strategic and experienced leader to join DPIRD as the Director of Agriculture Resource Management and Assessment. This senior leadership role supports the administration of the Soil and Land Conservation Act 1945 and shapes policies and strategies for the sustainable growth of WAs agriculture and food sectors.Reporting to the Soil and Land Conservation Commissioner, you will lead the development and delivery of scientific, monitoring, and assessment programs that inform land use decisions and address land degradation risks across the state. You will provide high-level advice to government and senior executives on environmental and agricultural resource management, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives and community needs.
