We are always on the look-out for dedicated, fashion-forward, and like-minded individuals!Apply now Job no: 998106Work type: Full-TimeLocation: Melbourne - CBD & InnerCategories: Design & Development, Digital, Marketing, Merchandise, BuyingThe roleThe purpose of this role is to lead the Trenery brand across brand strategy, design, buying, merchandise planning, marketing, and visual merchandising.This role collaborates closely with group functions including Digital, Sourcing & Supply, People, Finance, Real Estate, and Technology to deliver on Annual and IBP Revenues & EBIT growth.Reporting to the Group CEO, this role leads 5 direct reports including Head of Design, Head of Merchandise Planning, Head of Marketing, Head of Buying, and Head of Visual Merchandising.Key responsibilities will include:Developing and defining the brand vision, strategy, and business plan in collaboration with the Group Executive team to build a growing, profitable, and sustainable business.Using data and insights to develop and manage the long- and short-term plans for the Brand aligned with strategic targets.Identifying opportunities, driving improvements, and experimenting with new approaches to create sustainable brand value.Achieving the brand''s financial and strategic targets.Ensuring product and service experiences meet customer needs in quality and value.Leveraging marketing strategies and initiatives to engage consumers and grow the business.Leading retail operations in collaboration with the Group to provide a world-class customer experience.Fostering a high-performance culture that inspires growth.Empowering and supporting team members through decision-making, development, and support.Collaborating across the group, promoting inclusivity, and ensuring the right capabilities are in place.Driving responsible decision-making with a broad perspective internally and externally.Growing team capabilities through purposeful actions, knowledge sharing, and enabling decision-making.Leading an inspiring people experience, including performance management, talent development, succession planning, and engagement initiatives.The Ideal Candidate will demonstrate:Proven experience leading and developing a Brand or multiple verticals within a Brand.Experience in brand turnaround, thriving in ambiguity.Deep understanding of the fashion and consumer product industry.Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and entrepreneurial spirit.Financial expertise, including P&L management.Experience leading medium matrixed teams, fostering high performance, leading change, and working horizontally with group partners.Inspiring communication skills that create purpose and engagement.Experience building and managing strong cross-functional teams.Open-mindedness and a growth mindset.A deep appreciation for sustainability and sustainable practices.About UsTrenery is an Australian lifestyle brand that celebrates timeless style lived, not worn.
