The role is primarily based at Cairns or Townsville campuses, with potential travel to other campuses.Key ResponsibilitiesPromoting safety culture and supporting the Health, Safety, and Environment Management System.Applying high-level project management skills to infrastructure projects, including research, analysis, and decision-making.Ensuring timely project completion and managing project activities and stakeholder communication.Developing asset management processes, strategies, and policies.Facilitating organisational change and promoting business acumen among staff.Negotiating project proposals and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.Developing and monitoring Annual Maintenance Plans and strategic maintenance frameworks.Researching and presenting reports on projects and tasks.Contributing to organisational success through participation in networks, team activities, and professional development.How You Will Be AssessedStrong project management skills, including planning, research, and innovative solutions.Experience guiding teams and maintaining clear stakeholder communication.Understanding of Asset Management functions and experience in developing related plans and policies.Flexibility, responsiveness, and a positive attitude in dynamic environments.High-level communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.Highly Desirable RequirementsQualification in Project Management or equivalent experience.Experience with Asset Management Systems.Knowledge of project management methodologies.How To ApplyClick the Apply button on the TAFE Queensland Recruitment Portal.
