Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisor Contact: Joanne Brucejoanne.bruce@education.vic.gov.au Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisor - VPS4 - Fixed Term FTE 0.6 An exciting opportunity exists to work as part of a multidisciplinary, area-based team focused on building the capabilities of early childhood service providers and delivering improved outcomes for children in the Ovens Murray Area. The role involves understanding community needs and service providers within the portfolio. Building relationships with service providers and enhancing their capacity to deliver quality programs, especially for vulnerable children and families, is crucial. The role requires high-level interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, both written and verbal. You will contribute to service system planning, development, monitoring, and funding allocation processes in the region. Demonstrating conceptual and analytical abilities through practical, solution-focused problem solving is essential. Knowledge of the early childhood sector, community development, or related fields is desirable but not essential. Provide advice and guidance to service providers for effective delivery of funded programs Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including Local Government and kindergarten providers Manage governance arrangements to ensure compliance with service and funding agreements Contribute to early childhood programs and policy reforms in the Ovens Murray Area Collaborate with Senior Advisors and the Early Childhood Improvement Branch team How to Apply: Include a resume and a response to the Key Selection Criteria (max 3 pages).
