We have a permanent full-time position available for a highly motivated individual in a dynamic family-owned & operated company with over 70 years in the pre-cast concrete industry. This role is designed for someone who takes pride in their work, takes initiative, and enjoys working in a team with an interest in design and testing. It is a hands-on role requiring physical labour and attention to detail to ensure the highest quality products for our diverse clientele.What Youll Do:Assist in product testing, including Cylinder, Load, Hydrostatic & Core testing.Record results and assist with product standard audits.Complete audit compliance records.Coordinate work orders and communicate progress with section leaders & the sales team.Maintain accurate records of production, job details, test results, and issues encountered for internal & external reference.Assist in manufacturing products, including:Cleaning & oiling mouldsPlacing reinforcement & steel bars within the mouldUsing hand & power toolsOperating overhead crane to move moulds, disassemble & move productsManufacture a broad range of pre-cast products for rail, transport, civil, mining & farming solutions.Perform concrete patching.What Were Looking For:Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Good physical fitness for manual labour tasks.A positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn new skills.Punctuality & reliability.Strong teamwork and communication skills.The ability to take initiative.Previous experience in construction, trade, or manufacturing environments.Ability to use basic hand and power tools.Valid Forklift Licence (preferred).What We Offer:Above award rates based on experience + allowances & superannuation.Bi-annual wage and performance reviews.Potential for overtime, supporting a healthy work/life balance.$1000 tool bonus after probation.Work hours: Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm & Friday 7am-2pm.Mandatory close-down period of 2-3 weeks over Christmas/New Year.Travel bonuses for employees outside Griffith.Christmas bonuses for all full-time (non-probation) employees.Loyalty bonuses for employees with 2+ years.Opportunities for career growth within the company.Hands-on learning across diverse projects and tasks.How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.
