This includes an 11.5% standard employer contribution, plus an additional 2% employer co-contribution that matches your own 2% contributionPurchase additional leave of up to 12 weeks or work 4 years at a reduced salary and take the fifth year off as paid leaveAbout The RoleAs trainee with us, you will be expected to be able to carry out the full range of work carried out by a Water and Wastewater Treatment Operator, with the appropriate training and supervisionYoull receive a high standard of training and development in your role from experienced Treatment Operators and Managers, people whove been with the company for years, so youll learn from some of the best in the industryYou will be handling dangerous goods (with the right training you need to keep safe), performing chlorine changeover, and transporting chlorineIn your role you will complete heavy manual tasks, in awkward postures at times including clearing blocked networks or hosing down areasTasks vary from working both water and wastewater treatment, lifting gatic lids, turning valves, accessing chambers, using hand tools such as shifters, chainsaws, yes at times you will be clearing bio sludge in full PPEWe have a sincere work/life balance culture with flexible working arrangements and employee benefits that are available to you, many of the team work on a 9-day fortnight RDO rosterAbout YouYou will have great ability to learn as you will be learning through both on the job, so you need great listening skills, and in the classroom.You will have experience working on Technical Systems so you will be tech savvyYou enjoy working on country, being outdoors and able to adapt to covering a multitude of sitesYou must be working towards your Drivers Licence or hold a current WA C Class Drivers LicenceStrong Awareness of SafetyEnjoy working with your hands some work involves heavy manual tasks, precision work in a workshop or field environments, and some handling of dangerous goods Dont worry, youll get all the training you need to keep safePositive can-do attitude will see you do wellSound like a match?
