This will optimise outreach services to deliver care closer to home in the Gladstone and Banana rural communities.Operational Services provides catering, housekeeping, ward support, fire safety, and security services to the entire Gladstone Hospital facility and surrounds. The Ward Support Service includes patient assistance, porterage, waste, linen removal, and specialist functions like orthopaedic casting, operating theatre, and mortuary assistance.About the role:Provide quality environmental cleaning, catering, and linen services to the clients of Gladstone Hospital. Support our patients, clients, families, and communities in taking care of themselves and each other. Collaborate with our partners to connect services and operate safely and sustainably daily.About you:While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in Health Support Services would be well regarded.What we offer:An hourly rate between $39.05 $41.66 p.h.
