Join to apply for the Assistant Night Manager - Part Time role at IHG Hotels & Resorts Responsibilities include: Prepare and execute the end of day procedures. Perform backup and roll the day over to the next day. Identify and correct discrepancies in charges posted to guest folios and conference accounts. Maintain knowledge of departmental standards and procedures. Perform check-in, check-out, and room change procedures, ensuring data is entered correctly into hotel systems. Maintain cashier float and ensure accurate daily reporting of all money received. Ensure hotel floats and keys are logged correctly at shift end. Reconcile guest charges with departmental accounts. Balance all credit card transactions. Your day-to-day: Financial Perform end-of-day procedures and roll over the day. Identify and correct discrepancies in charges. People Attend required training courses. Maintain personal grooming standards. Establish effective working relationships. Train team members on compliance, safety, and quality standards. Ensure team is well-trained and equipped. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent in Hotel Management/Business Administration, plus 2 years of relevant experience. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Legal requirements: RSA Certification & NSW Drivers Licence. Ability to lift up to 23kgs. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
