Were looking for an experienced, solutions-focused Operations Manager to take the lead across multiple commercial and industrial construction projects. This is a hands-on role where leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement are key. Youll work closely with the Director to stabilise project delivery, lift performance, and shape a high-performing site team thats ready for growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support Project and Site Managers across multiple projectsDrive delivery to program, specification, and safety standardsBuild capability through mentoring and coaching site teamsUphold standards around quality, culture, and commercial performanceIdentify issues early and implement practical, effective solutionsMaintain clear communication with the Director on project progress, performance, and riskImplement systems and processes that improve operational efficiencySupport business expansion between Townsville and BrisbaneWhat Youll BringProven experience leading commercial and/or industrial construction projectsAbility to manage multiple teams and priorities at onceStrong commercial acumen with a focus on profitability and valueCalm, practical, and solutions-oriented mindsetStrong communicator who listens, adapts, and leads by exampleComfortable with systems and tech (or open to learning)Willingness to travel between Townsville and BrisbaneBonus Points ForExperience with both design and construct and lump sum contractsBackground in contract administration and project programmingExperience working across regional QueenslandHistory of working in lean, high-trust environmentsAbout the FitThis is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Townsville, suited to someone who wants to be part of something growing and dynamic.
