Through their extensive portfolio of prison management services, they maintain secure correctional facilities that focus on safety and deliver real outcomes.In this vital role, you''ll maintain safety, order, and security within a correctional facility while supporting the rehabilitation and well-being of incarcerated individuals.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and monitor inmate activities to ensure safety and compliance with rules.Develop productive relationships with inmates, staff, management, professionals and other key stakeholders internal and external.Participate in the reception, induction, rehabilitation, reintegration and discharge of inmates in accordance with relevant policies and guidelines.Conduct regular security checks and inspections of cells and facility grounds.Enforce facility rules and regulations.Respond to emergencies, altercations, and incidents in a calm and effective manner.Escort inmates to various areas within and outside the facility.Complete detailed incident reports and maintain daily logs.Undertake searches of inmates and areas in accordance with policies and procedures.Work collaboratively with staff to maintain a safe and respectful environmentInmate Interaction:Interact with inmates in a firm, fair, and respectful manner to promote a safe and rehabilitative environment.Conduct regular inmate counts, searches, and inspections to prevent disturbances or violations.Monitor inmate behaviour and respond to incidents or emergencies following established protocols.Support rehabilitation efforts by encouraging positive behaviour and compliance with institutional rules.To succeed in this role, you''ll bring:Strong interpersonal and communication skillsThe ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve conflicts effectivelyPhysical fitness to meet the demands of the role, including control and restraint trainingA valid driver''s licence and the ability to obtain relevant clearancesIf you have the passion, integrity, and determination to create a positive impact, you''re exactly who we''re looking for - Apply Now.ManpowerGroup is committed to being a Diversity Confident Recruiter and encourages applications from people from a diverse range of backgrounds, including people with a disability.
