This may require direct involvement at emergency incident locations, including being on the fire ground with short notice and may be outside normal working hours. The CTSO will require advanced skills and experience for complex restoration problems, to manage and/or coordinate complex installations and upgrade projects previous experience in supporting and leading other technical staff.Functional Accountabilities include: Attend fault rectification jobs and undertake diagnosis and rectification to meet defined service standards / Undertake work on FRV and CFA communications systems which may include telephone, data and radio systems Complete job cards and provide verbal and/or written technical reports as required / Liaise cooperatively with Help Desk and other CTSO staff to ensure a timely and appropriate response to the servicing of FRVs and CFAs communications systems Liaise cooperatively with Help Desk and other CTSO staff to ensure a timely and appropriate response to the servicing of FRVs communications systems / Work with other service providers, internal and external to FRV, to assist and support communications installations and maintenance. Ability to obtain ACA license for cabling. Able to satisfy the requirements for National Public Safety training package Maintain Safety at an Incident Scene (PUAOHS 002A). Demonstrated skills in fault diagnosis and service restoration in communications systems and equipment. Demonstrated ability to investigate and analyse complex faults. High level technical analysis and problem-solving skills and ability. Demonstrated understanding of the impact of technical work on integrated system requirements.
