Reporting to the Maintenance Manager at our PGH Bricks manufacturing site, you will be working on a 11-hr day roster (5am-4pm) assisting with general maintenance and breakdown work.Ideally, the successful applicant will be required to have a manufacturing or Building background, Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate, Boilermaker Certificate, Machinist or similar, have good attendance and have a strong awareness and regard for health, safety and the environment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintaining Operational machines in our PGH Bricks manufacturing site.Complete planned maintenance tasks.Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs.Complete repairs or modifications as requested by your Supervisor.Mechanical Fitting maintenance activities related to Clay extrusion equipment, mixers, crushers, conveyors, gearboxs/drives, bearings rollers etc.Fabrication-Simple stick, TIG and MiG weldingMachine tools - Occasional use of milling machine, lathe and pedestal drill.Maintain safe work & operating practices; and maintain a high standard of housekeeping.What Is On OfferWe strive to support your professional and personal growth.
