Job Description - Guest Service Agent / Associate (HOT0BKXP)Job Number:HOT0BKXPWork LocationDoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs, 82 Barrett Drive, Alice Springs 870A Guest Service Agent provides reception services for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out and complete audits, as required.What will I be doing?As a Guest Service Agent, you will serve on the Front Office Team, providing services for Guests to ensure an exceptional experience from check-in through check-out, including completing audits as needed. Your role influences the first impressions of our Guests and includes:Achieving positive outcomes from Guest queries efficientlyEnsuring an efficient reception experience, including check-in/out and auditsKeeping the Guest Service Manager informed of relevant guest feedback or departmental issuesDemonstrating high levels of customer service at all timesAttending training courses and assisting with Night Team training and developmentKnowing hotel room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and general product knowledgeMaximizing room occupancy and upselling hotel services and facilitiesHandling foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash according to hotel policiesAdhering to hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislationFollowing policies when working with front of house equipment and property management systemsFollowing brand standards and assisting other departments as neededWhat are we looking for?Successful Guest Service Agents embody a customer-focused attitude, excellent communication skills, and professionalism.
