About The Role This position is offered on a permanent part-time basis working 3 consecutive days per week (21 hours). Located at Uniting''s Counselling and Mediation Centre in Penrith. Availability to work in the centre on Thursdays from 10am 6pm and Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am 5pm. As a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP), youll provide FDR to families post-separation experiencing conflict, unable to reach agreements about children or property. Your work may include online video appointments, legally-assisted mediation, and child inclusive practices. You will collaborate with a team of FDRPs and therapists to support families holistically. About You Accredited by the Australian Attorney-Generals Department (AGD) as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, or eligible for accreditation. Evidence of eligibility will be required. Tertiary qualifications in law, psychology, or social work. Understanding of child inclusive mediation practice and family law legislation. Knowledge of community services related to family relationship difficulties and child protection issues. Ability to work independently and contribute to team functions. Excellent communication, organization, writing skills, and computer literacy. Ability to meet program-specific client targets.
