The Manager Arts and Culture will lead the Western Plains Cultural Centre and Cultural Development Team within the Community, Culture and Places division. The role focuses on delivering high-quality services and strengthening community engagement with arts and culture experiences. The position will also oversee the project management and operation of the, to be constructed, Wiradjuri Tourism Centre. Find Personal And Professional Growth The Arts and Culture team is responsible for the strategic management, experience delivery, and financial performance of Council''s Western Plains Cultural Centre and Cultural Development Team. The position is also accountable for identifying and driving partnerships with government, industry, and operators to grow appreciation of arts and culture, including implementing our Public Art Strategy and developing a new culture strategy aligned with the Dubbo Regional Council''s Community Strategic Plan. You''ll Find Growth Through Operations Management of our Western Plains Cultural Centre and Cultural Development Team The opportunity to align cross-divisional support in a changing environment Providing compassionate change management support What You''ll Bring To thrive in this role, you will need: Bachelor Degree in Arts, Marketing, Business, or related discipline and/or experience equivalent to the qualification. Demonstrated experience in commercial management and strategic management of a cultural facility. High-level organisational skills with experience managing multiple projects and engaging with multiple stakeholders. Excellent research and data analysis skills, with the ability to undertake economic, business, and financial analysis. Superior management and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive, cooperative, and productive relationships with staff, the community, and key stakeholders. Experience in developing commercial and/or government partnerships to improve business performance or customer service outcomes.
