Partnering with global brands and local producers, we integrate supply chain efficiencies and sustainable practices into everything we design and manufacture.Job DescriptionThe Brickwood (Dandenong) site specializes in the manufacture and supply of rigid plastic packaging for the consumer sector. We are currently seeking a Workplace Health and Safety Advisor to oversee and drive the consistent implementation of WH&S systems across the Dandenong site, ensuring the organization meets its legal and ethical obligations to provide a healthy and safe workplace.As a WH&S leader on site, you will connect site activities with group-level initiatives and champion the implementation of the Group WH&S System (policy, procedures, and tools). This includes communicating with site management, conducting inspections and audits, supporting hazard assessments, and overseeing incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions related to health, pollution, contamination, and waste management.Your key responsibilities will include:Providing oversight of health, safety, and environmental incidents, supporting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.Monitoring and driving activities with external regulatory bodies (such as WorkSafe and EPA), and recommending continuous improvements for the Group HSES System.Planning and implementing environmental, health, and safety programs.Identifying common hazards at the site and establishing guidelines for hazard control.Promoting a zero-harm culture by providing expert advice, support, and driving the implementation of the Group HSES system, including advising site leadership.Training and educating site leaders on Pacts safety management systems.QualificationsStrong knowledge of health and safety legislation, codes of practice, standards, and associated obligations.Skills in hazard identification, risk management, and incident investigation.Experience in implementing, monitoring, and auditing safety or environmental management systems.High computer literacy and administrative skills.Experience working in manufacturing, large multinational, or listed company environments.High initiative and ability to work effectively both on-site and remotely within a broader HSES team.Additional InformationAbout usOur vision is to lead the circular economy through packaging, reuse, and recycling solutions.
