financial matters and complex parenting mattersAbout the roleBellarine Family Lawyers is seeking a Senior Associate/Associate Family Lawyer to be part of the growth of our busy firm.The successful candidate will display strong ethics, a client-centric and individualised approach to each and every matter, a strong background in family law, attention to detail, a friendly, approachable, hard-working and professional attitude, and the willingness to work both autonomously and collaboratively.What you''ll be doingProviding advice to clients on a range of family law matters, including divorce, child arrangements, relocation cases, property settlements, child support, spousal maintenance and Intervention OrdersPreparing Court documents, including Application for Consent Orders, applications/responses, affidavits, financial statements, case outlinesAppearing in Court and/or briefing CounselAppearing at mediations, alternative dispute resolution conferences, conciliation conferences and/or briefing CounselLiaising with various experts, including property valuers, business valuers, family report writersWhat we''re looking forA valid Victorian practising certificateAdmission to the High Court of Australia15+ years experience in family law, with strong experience in property settlements, parenting mattersExcellent drafting skills with an attention to detailCommercially-mindedProfessional and personalised client skillsHighly knowledgeable with regard to family law legislation, cases and Court proceduresAbility to develop and maintain strong relationships within your team and within the wider family law communityDemonstrated ability to work independently and collaborativelyExcellent organisational and time management skillsAbility to maintain strong relationships with clientsAbility to work at times remotely/virtually but maintain communication with the teamYour applicationYour application will include the following questions:How
