For further information about this position, please apply.We are looking for a self-motivated, independent, and passionate Senior Test Analyst to join a multidisciplinary development team working on industry-leading mine automation solutions. The role involves working with both hardware and software systems. Responsibilities include:Testing technical and functional requirements for autonomy projects.Creating, reviewing, and maintaining testing artefacts such as test cases, scripts, reports, and plans.Collaborating with development teams, product teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure testing scope meets requirements.Identifying and diagnosing system errors and faults, ensuring systems perform to specifications.Key Responsibilities:Verification and testing of requirements:Verify quality of autonomy products, ensuring standards are met.Record and address deviations from requirements.Complete verification with appropriate detail.Developing and executing manual/automation tests:Design and create manual test cases based on requirements.Develop automation test coverage for regression suites.Execute tests, record outcomes, and report bugs.Support defect analysis, reproduction, and closure.Maintain test coverage and traceability.Evaluate exit criteria and prepare test closure reports.Providing subject matter expertise:Advise on quality assurance practices during design and implementation.Participate in reviews and process development to improve testing services.Transfer knowledge and train verification teams.Work from Perth with occasional site visits to support verification and knowledge sharing.ProfileEducationTertiary qualification in IT or related field (desirable).ISTQB Foundation / CTFL certification.Experience7+ years in a Software Testing role or similar.Team-oriented with strong communication and flexibility.Experience testing client applications, hosted environments, microservices.Test automation experience (desirable).Knowledge of test management tools and processes.Understanding of mining and safety-critical systems (desirable).Skills:Expertise in test analysis, design, execution, and closure.Requirement traceability skills.Proficiency with Windows and Linux/Unix.Experience with version control systems like Git.Familiarity with XML and JSON message formats.Salary sacrificing options.Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Job OfferAbout Brunel:Brunel connects talented professionals with opportunities across Australasia and globally, specializing in technical, professional, trades, and craft roles on contract, permanent, or secondment basis.
