Our Melbourne Precinct is the proud home of our Apprentice Program.Ready for your next adventure?Reporting to our Lead Line Planner, your primary focus will be planning scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks undertaken by various Approved Maintenance Organisations (AMOs). You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance of the Jetstar Airways fleet and maintaining operational integrity.As Maintenance Planner, your responsibilities will include:Assisting the Maintenance Operation Centre (MOC) in providing ongoing compliance control of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activitiesMaintaining compliance control of all work packages issued via TRAXDemonstrating commitment to CASA and other industry regulatory authorities that continued airworthiness management and company standards can be sustained by sound processes and procedures as detailed in the Maintenance Operations Procedures ManualProviding Engineering input to Jetstar Operations Control Centre (JOCC) decision-making processes for disruption managementAssisting in schedule control with the Aircraft Allocations CoordinatorInvestigating and reviewing serious incidents and assisting in the implementation of corrective actionsMaintaining accurate aircraft standards to support optimized planning outcomesAnalyzing technical, costing, and planning issues, establishing standards, and ensuring technical, commercial, and cost-effective performanceWere looking for someone who has:A detailed understanding of Aircraft Line / Base Maintenance and OperationsExperience in Aircraft Maintenance PlanningEffective communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholdersUnderstanding of TRAX, Rocade, and Microsoft Office applicationsHighly motivated with a commitment to continuous improvementAbility to build effective working relationships and thrive in a team environmentYour life at Jetstar is unlike any otherPut the craft in aircraft: Theres a new fleet of A321LR NEOs waiting for your arrival.
