Our ATSILS Roma and Charleville Satellite Offices are seeking a dedicated Criminal Law Legal Practitioner who is passionate about social justice. As one of Queenslands largest legal practices, we have developed the service in the Charleville/Roma region, and service demand shows how much an organised and social-justice-focused practitioner is needed to represent our clients, servicing both adult and youth jurisdictions. This position offers excellent advocacy opportunities. Candidates can be based in Roma or Charleville areas. An attractive annual remote allowance of $10,000 is offered to secure service continuity and community relationships. Requirements and Responsibilities Hold an Unrestricted Practising Certificate. Experience with Duty Lawyer responsibilities and Hearings is highly advantageous. Work collaboratively with our Administration Staff and Court Support Officers who provide extensive support and know our communities well. Training and Application Process Our Workforce Development Strategy enables you to undertake both team and formal training to succeed.
