You will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality solutions and results.In this role, you will:Lead maintenance crew following directives of managers and supervisors.Supervise maintenance teams in completing daily requirements of our HME Fleet, including Komatsu, Liebherr, and Caterpillar trucks, bulldozers, graders, and loaders.Source technical information from manuals, bulletins, and computer systems.Assist crews in meeting safety targets.Provide technical support to staff and operations personnel.Requisition parts and equipment through proper procedures.Verify solutions and control machinery deficiencies until corrected.About YouTo succeed, you should have:A Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) or equivalent.At least 5 years of mining experience with exposure to leading or supervising mobile maintenance as a Heavy Duty Fitter.Ability to work with cross-functional teams.A strong commitment to health and safety.Mining Supervisory training (highly regarded).JDE experience (highly regarded).What Thiess Can Do For YouPermanent employment from start no labour hire.7/7 Day Shift roster with 12.5-hour shifts.BIBO from Mackay, Yeppoon, Rockhampton, Townsville, & Bundaberg.Camp accommodation with meals included.Commitment to training and development.Corporate discounts on health insurance, travel, and retail products.About UsThiess operates in Australia, Asia, and the Americas in open-cut and underground mining.
