About The Role Ongoing, full-time role with the provision of monthly accrued days off. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will adhere to the following operational requirements: Ensure the provision of all maintenance services of Moyne Health Services'' facilities and equipment. Ensure that all grounds maintenance is provided in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Provide day-to-day supervision and support of Maintenance staff. Ensure safe work practices are adhered to. Establish, coordinate, and maintain the receipt and recording of all incoming maintenance work requests across Moyne Health Services. Ensure the progression of work in accordance with specifications, plans, and programs, and ensure that it is carried out within budget, timeframes, and in a cost-effective manner. Supervise contractors and ensure that all work carried out meets Moyne Health Services standards and specifications. Ensure daily job requisitions are dealt with in a timely and cost-effective manner. Perform maintenance and other hands-on tasks as required. Oversee effective waste management strategies. About You Minimum Qualifications: Trade qualification preferred, but not essential. Equivalent workplace experience. Key Selection Criteria Technical Proficiency: A strong understanding of maintenance principles and practices. Experience with relevant equipment, systems, and tools. Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or other specialized trades as required by the industry. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex maintenance issues. Preventive Maintenance: Experience developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs. Knowledge of maintenance scheduling and planning. Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards. Ability to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. Supervisory Experience: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. Experience in assigning tasks, providing training, and evaluating performance. Ability to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment. Experience in supervising contracts and contractors. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with team members, management, and contractors. Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant computer applications. Strong time management and prioritization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation. Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
