Our Macquarie Capitals Principal Finance team invests Macquaries own capital with a flexible mandate to invest across the capital structure from senior debt to common equity. Youll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.What role will you play?As an Analyst, you will have the opportunity to experience significant deal flow and gain exposure to every stage of the deal cycle, from sourcing to deal execution, as well as ongoing portfolio management.You will carry out fundamental company and industry research, liaising with management teams, external experts, and in-house resources. You will deliver sound financial analysis, structure deals, run diligence workstreams, and assist with origination responsibilities such as supporting Directors throughout the deal cycle and in portfolio management. This role offers early responsibility and the chance to work alongside seasoned professionals in a dynamic team.What you offerUp to 2 years of experience in a top-tier investment bank, management consulting, M&A advisory, or similar investment firmExcellent financial modelling skills, including financial statement analysis, valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysisInquisitive nature and motivation to learn about diverse industriesStrong verbal and written communication skills to present insights to senior stakeholdersTeam-oriented approach and ability to excel in a fast-paced, challenging environmentHigh energy and a desire to contribute to the success and growth of Macquarie''s Principal Finance groupWe welcome applications from anyone inspired to build a better future with us.
