With over 25 years of experience, and operating throughout Darwin, Alice Springs, and remote communities, M+J Builders are recognised for exceeding industry standards and achieving multiple accolades for excellence and client satisfaction.Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Senior People and Culture Advisor will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the companys people strategy while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and employee engagement. This dynamic role combines strategic HR leadership with hands-on operational support to drive key initiatives aligned with the organisations values and goals.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement HR systems that ensure compliance, best practices, and alignment with M+J Builders Core Values.Provide professional HR advice, coaching, and support to all levels of the business, including the leadership team.Lead strategic and operational initiatives related to people management, employee engagement, and workforce development.Drive cultural initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and alignment with business goals.Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession strategies.Manage complex employee relations matters with a focus on fair and consistent outcomes.Deliver training and development programs to upskill employees and promote leadership capability.Skills and Experience:Degree in Human Resources or equivalent qualifications.At least 5 years experience in a senior HR advisory or similar role.Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.Proven ability to manage both strategic HR initiatives and day-to-day operational tasks.Experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for creating a positive employee experience.M+J Builders foster a culture of integrity, collaboration, and innovation, you will ideally be someone who embodies these principles and is committed to delivering exceptional results.
