In this role, you will lead a team of Product Managers & Operations Managers to run a fast-moving and diverse portfolio.The display team is currently addressing both the B2B and B2C IT marketplaces. This role has responsibility for the local operation and P&L delivered by several categories, including Computer Monitor (LCD), Large Format Display (LFD), Hotel TV, LED Display, SSD Memory, and PSSD Memory.In this role, you will manage the cadence of our business operation including our financial and product forecast as well as our category business plans. Therefore, you should have strong financial acumen, a creative mind to help shape our go-to-market strategy, and an ability to lead an energetic team.This role is part of the leadership group for the display team, which includes the Head of Marketing and the Heads of Sales. Consequently, an ability to collaborate and contribute to the broader business is required.Samsung is a fast-moving and ambitious organization; the successful candidate will demonstrate tenacity and a passionate approach.Role and ResponsibilitiesLeadership and development of the team: The group is at different stages of their careers; the successful candidate needs to demonstrate an ability to bring the team together and foster a creative and supportive environment.Continual management of our factory forecast for each product: Supporting each PM to run their weekly Supply Chain Management (SCM) meetings, ensuring correct management of product flow into the Australian market.Creation and maintenance of our product plans: Supporting each PM to localize the product roadmap and initiatives from HQ. Creating compelling market stories for our products for use by sales and marketing teams.Develop and maintain a strong understanding of market dynamics and drivers: Through detailed analysis of market share data, sell-through information, and customer feedback, providing insights and creating tactics to grow Samsung''s share.Ensure we manage our financial commitments each month: Ensuring operational and product managers work with sales to deliver monthly forecasts.Skills and Qualifications10+ years experience as a Product/Category Team Lead with strong commercial acumenExperience within the B2B industry is highly preferable, and hardware product management is essentialProven experience leading and mentoring teams, with the ability to drive collaboration across divisions, especially with Sales & Marketing in a global matrix organizationAbility to demonstrate P&L management experienceSeeking senior product/category managers looking for their next career development stageStrong understanding of business and financial planning, with exceptional presentation, negotiation, influencing, and selling skillsPassionate about products and possessing an innovative mindset to drive growthWhat sets us apart from the rest?At the heart of our DNA is the pursuit of excellence and bringing innovation to everyone, faster than anyone.
