You will always have something to do, go to restaurants, movies, join a gym, a sporting team, play golf, as well as fishing and camping activities at the lake.The RoleReporting to the Metallurgy Superintendent, you will provide technical support to the Zinc Concentrator processing activities to deliver the business strategy. You will uphold Glencore values as you create capability within the metallurgy team by leading, developing and mentoring technical personnel. This will be a full-time permanent role that offers an attractive remuneration package and benefits including market related superannuation and a strong focus on continuing your professional development.Your key responsibilities include:Provide technical support to Concentrator Operations and maintenance to drive process improvements and deliver set production targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basisResponsible for inspections, failure predictions and technical analysis on critical equipmentSupport the Mine-Mill-Smelter value chain strategyProvide leadership and guidance to promote a culture of safety and personal development of MetallurgistsOptimize plant efficiencies through a view of continuous improvement at reduced operational costsThe successful applicant will have:4+ years experience in Mineral Processing plants with a strong operations background and base metals exposure in grinding and flotationDemonstrated metal accounting and reconciliation experienceTechnical knowledge in laboratory testwork techniques and managing plant surveysSound process improvement capabilitiesExperience working with online analysers (OSA/MSA/PSI)Demonstrated ability to work safely in a Concentrator and to lead by example to a professional teamDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levelsApplications Close: 8am Wednesday, 14th May 2025How to apply:Start your application by clicking the "begin" button. #J-18808-Ljbffr
