Your New Role As a Lending Specialist, you will be a key member of our retail branch network, building relationships with members on base through exceptional service and sound residential mortgage advice. You will collaborate with branch staff, regional lending peers, and our credit team to ensure a positive member experience during their home purchase process. Your responsibilities include: Providing a seamless end-to-end banking experience Making outbound calls to new and prospective members Building trust and confidence through meaningful conversations Building relationships within the Defence Community Educating members on digital banking tools Growing the Mortgage and Consumer lending portfolios Partnering with the Credit Team to meet member expectations within credit criteria and timeframes About You You are passionate about member experience, results-driven, self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and tech-savvy. You have strong retail lending experience, knowledge of local residential mortgage products and the real estate market, and the ability to create and manage leads effectively. You enjoy engaging proactively with members via outbound calls and building relationships within the community. Tier 2 accreditation and/or Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Brokering are essential.
