Job Opportunity: Road Maintenance WorkerAre you looking for a career that challenges you, offers growth opportunities, and allows you to make a difference?We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in supporting vital road maintenance projects across NSW. If you value quality work and teamwork, this is your chance to contribute to the community.Responsibilities:Perform maintenance and manual labour tasks using plant, equipment, and hand tools.Undertake road maintenance activities, including pavement repairs, corridor maintenance, rehabilitation, and patching works.Participate in toolbox talks focused on continuous safety improvements.Travel extensively within the region to various worksites, including attending call-outs as required.We have several permanent and fixed-term positions to support our projects. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in civil maintenance, working alongside an experienced team dedicated to maintaining roads and highways for regional benefit.Additional Information:For more details, view the role description and information pack.About You:You are a team-oriented individual with a keen eye for detail, accustomed to outdoor manual work, and a practical thinker. You enjoy physical activity and effective communication within a team environment.You must hold the following tickets/licenses:White CardCurrent unrestricted drivers licenseTraffic Control Tickets (preferred, training provided within 3 months)Applicants should reside within 50 km of the Hay Works Centre and be willing to work outside normal hours, attend call-outs, and work away from home when needed.
