The role involves supervising the management of over 350,000 inventory items that support maintenance and productivity of our assets.Reporting directly to the area manager, the successful candidate will be key to the Materials Management process, ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective storage, handling, and flow of materials to support continuous operations and productivity, in compliance with all policies and standards.This role will collaborate with location, operations, and resource groups, including Maintenance, Operations, Asset Management, Engineering, Procurement, Materials Coordination, and Finance, to share best practices, troubleshoot, and improve Materials Management productivity.Core Activities:Ensuring safety of all employees, contractors, and visitors involved in warehousing activities according to procedures.Leading and managing all location store employees and contractors, and department performance.Managing processes such as Kitting, Repairables, Receipt, Storage, Picking, Staging, Delivery, Returns, and Shipping of all materials, including over 350,000 physical inventory items and approximately 202,000 transactions annually.Coordinating General Freight and Logistics to align with operational strategies and solve problems.Ensuring robust management of Warehouse and Inventory in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements, including internal audit testing and corrective actions.Continuously optimizing processes and workflows to improve productivity and meet KPIs.Whats on offerOpportunities for career developmentMonthly Leisure DayBenefits allowancePerformance-based bonusPaid volunteer hoursEngagement opportunities focused on social and diversity initiativesWhat you can bring to the roleTo succeed, you should have:Proven experience in large-scale warehousing operations and safety.Experience in warehousing, stores, logistics, preferably with relevant tertiary qualifications.Strong leadership skills to build trust and empower teams.Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills.A proactive, self-motivated attitude to drive improvements and change.High-level verbal, written, and numerical skills.Additional InformationApplications close midday Australian Western Standard Time on the posting end date.Interviews may occur before the closing date, but all applications will be considered.About the LocationOur Pinjarra Refinery, producing approximately 4.7 million metric tons annually, is located in WA''s Peel region.
