About the role We''re seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to be a key contributor in the analysis and design phases within our Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), driving system design and embedding industry best practices. You will join an innovative Customer Platform team, responsible for delivering business capabilities for Tolling services on Australian Toll Roads and providing exceptional customer service for Australian Tolling brands. As our Senior Technical Business Analyst, you''ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities by working collaboratively in a Squad, contributing to business solutions, and role modeling technical analysis. It''s meaningful, challenging, and exciting work. Day-to-day responsibilities: Technical analysis and solution design for mission-critical platforms, systems, and applications, particularly within Oracle environments. Lead analysis of current processes, systems, applications, and data flows to establish a baseline for change, and develop and maintain functional and interface specifications. Develop and execute use cases to validate areas of change, end-to-end processes, and overall system architecture fit. Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders, tailoring messages appropriately. Work within a Squad, adhering to SDLC processes, and utilizing methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or Iterative approaches. Apply data, data models, and SQL/Data Querying skills to support analysis. Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office tools and delivery platforms like JIRA and Confluence. Commit to continuous improvement of analysis frameworks and adapt to organizational needs. Preferred background and skills: Experience in Tolling, Utilities, or Financial Services sectors. Experience analyzing and delivering projects across Customer, Billing, Payments, Data Migration, and Integration. Knowledge of Oracle products such as Oracle Customer Care and Billing, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle SOA Suite, and Oracle Database. Ability to translate business needs to technical teams and vice versa. Experience in developing and maintaining specifications, data models, and SQL queries. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office and delivery tools.
