Ltd.Position: Full-time Environmental Field Advisor (Competition #25-04-0703) in the Drilling Waste Division (DWM)What to Expect:As an Environmental Field Advisor, you will serve as a field liaison on various projects, communicate with clients and the Summit team, mentor team members on field scopes, and drive projects to completion. This role offers an opportunity to enhance your professional relationship-building skills in a collaborative environment.You will be supported by the entire Summit organization, which includes technical administrators, business development professionals, an in-house IT department, and other highly experienced professionals.Job Duties:Conduct land spraying while drilling (LWD) and related environmental assessments, a new method of drilling waste management introduced to Australia.Provide technical expertise for services offered, either directly or indirectly.Develop and maintain relationships with government/regulatory officials, staying informed of legislative or administrative changes.Train inexperienced staff members in consultation with the SLS Management Team.Qualifications:A diploma or degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Soil Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related fields is recommended.1-2 years of field experience is advantageous.High understanding of Drilling Waste Management, especially Landspray While Drilling (LWD), is a plus.Knowledge of oil and gas drilling practices, including Minimal Disturbance Drilling (MDD), is important.Extensive knowledge of spill response and pressure management.Strong understanding of soils, vegetation, and chemistry.Familiarity with drilling rigs, associated equipment, and personnel.Proven leadership, analytical thinking, and public speaking skills.Proficiency in writing and Microsoft Office software.Company Information:The Summit Group of Companies leads in environmental services with operations in Australia, Canada, and the US, focusing on turnkey environmental management solutions.
