Our team has excellent working relationships with Traditional Owners, which is essential for determining and managing potential risks associated with projects.We work collaboratively with Traditional Owners to facilitate the signing of cultural heritage management agreements or cultural heritage management plans, organise field surveys, and develop appropriate methods for the conservation of Indigenous Australian cultural heritage.With an expanding team, we operate across Queensland and into New South Wales, completing projects for construction companies, town planners, engineering firms, all levels of government, natural resource management groups, mining and energy industries, transport infrastructure, primary industries, developers, and other related sectors.Our experienced team has strong working relationships with government regulators and town planners to guide large and small projects through the permitting processes and legislative frameworks across Queensland and NSW.About the RoleWe are seeking to appoint a Cultural Heritage Manager to lead a team of heritage professionals across a range of projects in Queensland and New South Wales.The position will manage and deliver Indigenous Australian cultural heritage, historic heritage, and built heritage projects, including:- Traditional Owner liaison and negotiations on behalf of our clients, site clearances, monitoring, duty of care assessments, cultural heritage management plans, Indigenous Australian archaeological investigations, cultural mapping and analysis, and Native Title assessments.- Historic heritage development applications, heritage impact statements, conservation management plans, archaeological investigations, heritage exemption certificates, and approvals.- Delivering training seminars for clients and contributing to business development through client liaison and expanding our market presence in Queensland and New South Wales.About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated Cultural Heritage Manager with:- A minimum Bachelor''s Degree with Honours in archaeology, anthropology, or another relevant field.- 5-10+ years of relevant industry experience (remuneration based on experience and skill set).- A detailed working knowledge of Queensland and/or New South Wales legislation and heritage management practices. Knowledge of heritage issues in other Australian states.
