These include cutting-edge conveyor and sortation systems, voice- and light-directed order fulfillment equipment, warehouse controls & execution software, robotics, Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS), mezzanines, and structures, all backed by round-the-clock service and support.If you want to join a team of industry-leading experts who aim to create an impact on the future of material handling solutions, we want to hear from you!Position Summary:The Import/Export Logistics Specialist will manage inbound parts importsshipments from Daifuku Japan and other offshore vendors.Ideal candidate:Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.ResponsibilitiesDaily management of inbound parts importsshipments from Daifuku Japan and other offshore vendors, including:Coordination with internal departments on a) international logistics and b) trade compliance to ensure shipments arrive on time, clear customs, and flow smoothly. This may involve teams such as Wynparts/Order Fulfillment, Purchasing, Project Managers, and Engineers.Serve as the main contact for external Customs Brokers, Carriage Brokers, Freight Forwarders, and logistics providers regarding Daifuku Intralogistics America parts imports.Weekly/Monthly management of parts exported to Canada, Mexico, and beyond, including:Filing AES exports via ACE or through a Customs broker.Consulting with Trade Compliance personnel or legal representatives on export licensure for items on the Commerce Control List (e.g., solenoids, cameras, semiconductor chips).Collaborating with engineers and project personnel on longer-term Spare Parts Lists requiring detailed specifications.Ensuring compliance with all trade regulations and guidelines.Essential Job Functions:Managing customer spare parts orders (Wynparts) from order to delivery.Tracking work-in-process parts (conveyor components) from order to delivery.Managing emergency replacement parts (Global Management System) from order to delivery.Overseeing domestic and offshore AS/RS system upgrades involving international parts.QualificationsBachelors degree preferred; experience or training in international logistics is a plus.Experience with tariff classification, especially for industrial machinery, electronics, structural steel, aluminum, plastics, and rubber articles.Experience with international freight forwarding and customs transactions.Familiarity with the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) and CARM system in Canada.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AdobePro, and Microsoft Access; SAP training is a plus.Military experience is highly valued; any MOS, AFSC, or NEC is welcome.Salary RangeMin Salary: (To be specified)Max Salary: (To be specified) #J-18808-Ljbffr
