Reporting to the Director Planning and Development, you will lead initiatives in in Economic Development & Strategic Planning, Projects. Your role will involve:Your ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and implementing annual Business Unit plans, progress reports, and budgets.Contributing to strategic plans for issue-based projects.Ensuring compliance with relevant statutes, regulations, by-laws, and Council resolutions.Leading and mentoring Business Unit employees, setting performance objectives, and monitoring progress.Facilitating partnerships and alliances on urban planning projects with key stakeholders.Acting as Director Planning and Development when required.Managing the implementation of the Councils vision through clear action strategies and project management plans.Preparing reports, council submissions, and presentations as needed.Ensuring high standards of customer service and community engagement in urban planning and economic development projectsAbout YouThe following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you dont tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
