Join to apply for the Construction Manager role at UGL. About the role We are seeking a Construction Manager to oversee maintenance work on 132kv and 330kv transmission lines across Australia. Responsibilities include pole and structure replacement, maintenance, rectification, conductor and OPGW installation/replacement, and defect repairs. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will: Ensure WHS, Environmental, and Quality compliance at the worksite. Supervise work group performance, stakeholder engagement, and compliance. Coordinate between subcontractors, internal staff, and external stakeholders. Plan work to meet schedule and project outcomes. Manage projects from start to finish, focusing on time, cost, quality, safety, and environmental management. Ensure resource utilization is cost-effective. Maintain quality records. About you Ideal candidates will have: At least 5 years of management experience on transmission line or substation projects. Proven leadership in delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget. Knowledge of OHS and Environmental legislation, Codes of Practice, and Standards. Experience working with contractor organizations and enforcing compliance with HSEQ standards. Current Driver''s License and Construction White Card. What we offer Full-time permanent employment.
