We need you on the Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) Learning team as a Critical Environment (CE) Technical Trainer.As a CO+I Learning CE Technical Trainer, you will contribute to establishing technical training delivery, workforce training needs analysis, and engage with your team in procedural change management activities in support of the datacenters in your area of responsibility. You will leverage technical and adult learning fundamentals to evaluate and report on training activities in the datacenters and develop your skills while coaching learners in their career growth. This position is on-site in the datacenter with limited work-from-home opportunities.Microsoft CO+I powers our cloud services. As a CE Technical Trainer, you will deliver core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft''s online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and Azure. It is a 100% onsite role in Sydney during standard business hours.Responsibilities:Align learning preparation with relevant success metrics (e.g., cloud usage, feedback surveys).Incorporate the latest features, technologies, and processes into training to ensure quality delivery.Deliver training sessions in-person or virtually using various methods such as presentations, labs, and simulations.Utilize digitally enhanced instructor-led resources for effective technology-based learning.Apply classroom management techniques to reinforce learning and engage learners.Create a supportive environment, monitor learner progress, facilitate hands-on activities, and provide feedback to the broader team.Conduct onsite hands-on training at data centers.Embodies our culture and values.Role is 100% onsite, during standard hours.Required Qualifications:Bachelor''s Degree AND 2+ years in training, education, critical environments, cloud systems, data centers, or related tech experience.OR equivalent experience.Preferred Qualifications:4+ years hands-on experience maintaining facility cooling, electrical, mechanical, and safety systems.2+ years experience in training delivery or project management.Knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems in data centers or critical environments.Ability to analyze and represent training data effectively.Structured operational planning and project management skills.TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly regarded).Background Check Requirements:Verification of Australian Citizenship.Pass Microsoft Cloud background check and potentially an Australian Government security clearance.Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
