As a crucial member of the Telecommunications team, you''ll be at the forefront of maintaining, repairing, and optimising facilities and advanced HVAC systems.This isn''t your typical 9-to-5 jobit''s a full-time, permanent role with ample opportunities for overtime. Imagine cruising to work in your own company-provided Tool of Trade vehicle, ensuring you arrive ready to tackle any challenge the day presents.The pay rate for this position is at industry rates based on skills and experience.To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check. Company car provided for work-related travel requirements Ventia offers a flexible, supportive, and inclusive work environment where you matter This role comes with the added security of being offered as a permanent positionKey duties, but not limited to:Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systemsContributing to overall site maintenancePerforming reactive and planned preventative maintenance and testing as required via Mobility (iPad)Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services promptly and efficientlyEnsuring inspection results are recorded online with objective quality evidence standardsProviding flexibility to meet the demands of out-of-hours and call-out work as requiredSkills & Experience:A strong focus and commitment towards OH&S in the workplaceExcellent customer service and time management skillsA positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to develop skillsA current and valid Australian Drivers Licence, Australian Refrigeration Trade qualification, and applicable licensesA current and valid Arctick Refrigerant Handling Licence, Restricted Electrical Licence, or Dual Trade qualificationsAbility to work independently and in a teamWillingness to travel occasionally to different metro & remote sites as requiredYou must be able to pass a national police check, a Working with Children Check, and complete and pass a full pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screeningThe CompanyVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
