Add expected salary to your profile for insightsWe are seeking a talented and energetic individual to be responsible for overseeing and managing the new Boeing Defence Australia''s production facility located at Wellcamp Airport, Toowoomba. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of Manufacturing / production processes.The Production Facilities Manager will ensure that the facility, and it''s associated assets, are maintained to the highest standards, meet regulatory requirements, and support efficient and safe production operations whilst minimizing production down time. Reporting to the National Manager for Business Support and Site Services, this individual will be a trusted self-starter that can operate autonomously in a matrix environment.You will be the key point of contact and engage with local site management, service providers, contractors, while working with local teams to ensure a safe and compliant work environment is provided to our employees. You will have the skills, knowledge, and understanding to develop the required scope of works, along with the ability to develop relationships with suppliers and business stakeholders. The highest level of personal and professional conduct and adherence to Boeing Behavioral standards are required at all times.Experience/Qualifications5+ years proven experience in facility management, preferably in an aviation or manufacturing environment.Experience working in a large matrix organizationStrong knowledge of manufacturing production processes, regulations, and safety standards (desirable)Excellent leadership and team management skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Experience dealing with senior stakeholders and translating operational requirements into actionable deliverablesExperience with managing and coordinating site operations as it pertains to local laws and company policies and proceduresStrong relationship building and stakeholder management skillsExtensive knowledge in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)Previous work experience in data analysis on an asset management system required (Maximo & Cognos preferable).Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Australian Government security requirements.About UsBoeing Defence Australia is shaping the future of aerospace and delivering some of the nation''s most important programs for the Australian Defence Force.
