Wed love to hear from you.About the role:Based in our Perth office, youll have the unique opportunity to establish and lead a fit-for-purpose assurance function and program. Youll work closely with key internal and external stakeholders providing insights that strengthen controls, improve compliance and support better decision-making.This role offers true visibility and influence. As part of the Operational Risk Leadership Team, youll contribute to our broader Governance, Risk and Compliance strategy while leading the design and delivery of a pragmatic, commercially minded assurance function.In this role, youll:Develop and implement Pioneer Credits internal audit and assurance programPresent audit findings and recommendations to senior leadershipAssess and recommend improvements which strengthen our control environmentPartner with stakeholders across the business to strengthen governance frameworks and manage riskProvide independent and forward-looking insights that inform business decisions, drive process improvement initiatives and efficiency gains across teamsSupport supplier and vendor governance audits to ensure complianceMonitor legal and regulatory compliance, including engagement with regulators (ASIC, APRA, AUSTRAC)Champion a culture of accountability, transparency and continuous improvementTo be successful in this role, you will bring:58 years of internal audit or assurance experience, ideally within financial services or a regulated environmentThe ability to work independently and build credibility with senior stakeholdersA commercial mindset with a strong understanding of operational and regulatory riskA team player who is eager to build something meaningful and aligns with Pioneer Credits principles of Be human, Choose integrity and Act with purposeExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsWhy Join Us?At Pioneer, we prioritise a work-life balance and celebrate your unique experiences.
