THE ROLE & THE TEAM Our Workers Compensation team covers the full spectrum of workplace injuries including major and minor orthopaedic, neurological and strain injuries, brain damage, catastrophic multi-injuries, exposure to hazardous substances, psychological injury, and stress claims. What You Bring The ideal candidate will have an interest in Workers Compensation, along with the following experience: Respondent and defendant experience within a well-regarded, fast-paced practice Strong litigation and research skills Experience acting for scheme agents, treasury managed fund agents, self and specialised injuries Experience advising on liability, quantum and litigation strategy Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, regulations and recent changes Demonstrated experience in recoveries A self-starter, able to work in a team environment The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to build strong client relationships.
