The solicitor will appear and conduct litigation in courts such as the Children''s Court of Victoria, Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), and related jurisdictions. You will primarily work with one of the legal teams within Statewide CPLO and will need to travel to various Children''s Court locations and child protection offices. Accountabilities Include Appear in complex and sensitive litigation involving the department in various courts. Provide authoritative legal advice on complex issues, including policy matters, and prepare high-level briefings and correspondence.
